Today, May 24th, 2013, is the third anniversary of our chapter’s first founding meeting. It seems like an appropriate day to launch our media blog. So, for the first post, we’re attaching the picture of that first encounter in a local sandwich shop in New York. In spite of what the picture may indicate, we never paid more there. We simply couldn’t have. Featured in the background are our regular hangouts from those days (Starbucks for the “star” meetings, and Naya Express), and our evening classes at the UN program at LIU (Julia, Dorothy, Arshiya, were classmates) used to be a block up from this venue. Not to mention the 99c pizza store around the corner. It has been an honor to be part of this exciting journey with such a talented, diverse, and energetic team.
